Scrap Book Memories: The intense look of a Peruvian child

December 6, 2009

Over the years I accumulated lots of photos, too many probably. Little time to select them and rare occasions to share them with friends. That’s why I thought of start creating a memories scrap book and include it in my blog. It will urge me to rummage into my photo collection and allow me to share the emotions I tried to capture.

I decided to start with Peru, one of the most thrilling journey I did so far, although I haven’t write about yet. I hope you’ll enjoy my memories.

Thank you for your comment, Monica. The trip to Peru is one of my favorite ones! It’s such a beautiful and varied country and I’m sure you would enjoy it. Well, let’s say that I loved all the Latin America countries I’ve visited so far, everyone for different reasons.
Yes, I should definitely write about Peru. And Venezuela, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, Yemen, Nepal… I would like to have a 48 hours day… 😉
      A big hug!

I just dropped by your blog… and according to those women’s skirts, I think you took that picture in Arequipa (Southern Peru) and did you went to Colca Canyon??? The superbe blue sky cannot be only seen in the high mountains (Andes)… in the northern part we have great beaches with blue sky too.
The picture is really awsome and as a Peruvian I would like to thank you those kinds words about my country.

Hi Jules, I’m glad that you stopped by and I hope you’ll visit my blog again.
I took the picture on my way to Arequipa and not far from there. From you comment, I guess that colors and pattern identify different regions in Peru. I also visited Colca Canyon and loved it. Indeed I mentioned the superb blue sky in the Andes but I was lucky enough to enjoy it in many other places, including Tititaca lake. I’m sure that there are also gorgeous beaches, although I only saw a little piece of the coast during the journey because it was the wrong season. garua garua garua 🙂
I’ve lots of photos of Peru and plan to make a little slideshow. So… stay tuned! 🙂
